Summit for Everyone: the ODI Gala Dinner (October 29th)

Fancy a three-course meal, drinks, entertainment, a walk around the stunning Museum of London and the chance to bump shoulders with 200 of the biggest names in Open Data (including Sir Tim Berners-Lee)?  

To celebrate the closing of their first annual summit, the Open Data Institute will host a Gala Dinner in the Museum of London's spectacular Sackler Hall (Tuesday October 29th).

Starting with drinks and canapés in the Museum’s upper levels, guests will have the opportunity for a private viewing of the Museum. There’ll also be a last chance to see the exclusive “History of Data” exhibition: a bespoke series of visuals taking you from Stonehenge to satnav in search of the reasons behind humanity’s unique predilection for data.

After an introduction and keynote from ODI founder Sir Tim Berners-Lee, guests will be treated to a three-course sustainably sourced meal with wines and locally-sourced beers. The dining hall will be lit by the stunning 48 metre LED ellipse; a fitting spectacle to close out the day.

After dinner, the bars will open and the evening will round off with a set from a very special (and very in-demand) UK band.
