Event Alert: Success in the US
Chinwag's new project, Pitch NYC kicks off next Thu evening (10 Sep) in London with a free evening event, Success in the US. The event features speakers from across the US as we explore how to raise investment and develop a commercial strategy on the other side of the pond.
The event marks the start of Pitch NYC, a new initiative supporting the UK's top tech startups in raising investment from US investors. The programme features an intensive Investor Readiness Bootcamp in the UK, followed by further training and Pitch NYC itself on 11 Nov in New York City.
Success in the US takes place at WeWork’s brand new Spitalfields location for an evening exploring the world’s biggest tech market, the USA. Hosted by UK Trade & Investment, Pitch NYC and Fried Frank the evening will feature top insight fuelled by drinks and snacks from our friends at WeWork.
Discover the market opportunities, how to build your business and hear how to target US VCs to secure investment. UKTI’s staff from San Francisco, Chicago and New York will provide a pan-US perspective. Plus we'll hear the warts'n'all Entrepreneurs' perspective.

As I've mentioned before, British entrepreneurs should try to connect with local Brit Expats while they're in the U.S. market.
These U.S. permanent residents can become valuable go-to resources for UK firms that seek ongoing guidance, once they've returned home from their short visit to America.
