Chinwag's Old Blog: Toilet-Based Surfing - Microsoft's iLoo
Following a previous story about reading email on the toilet, it's been fascinating watching recent stories on The Register.
Microsoft announced, with much trumpeting, their iLoo, an wireless Internet throne in the same vein as their connected bench. After it's revelation as a late April Fool's prank, it turns out to be true. Double bluff? Perhaps, but the earnest language from Bill's troops suggests not.
Does this mean we need to invent a new term for surfing...after all, it's a bit tricky doing that with your trousers round your ankles.
