Dare to Solve: Health and Social Care Innovation Contest Briefing Event
Event Info
Description
The Dare to Solve: Health and Social Care Innovation Contest is open to UK and EU businesses who are using digital technologies to find innovative ways of improving public services across health and social care sectors.
Featuring two unique challenges focussed on adult health and wellbeing and care for families and children, this Dare to Solve contest is looking for innovative proposals from companies with digital solutions relevant to these themes.
Winners will have an exclusive opportunity to collaborate with the contest challenge partners, including Staffordshire County Council, to accelerate development of their technology.
We want to see unique solutions with potential appeal to a wide commercial market. Successful applicants will then embark on the opportunity to trial their proposed solutions with the challenge partners for a minimum duration of 3 months.
This briefing event will give applicants the chance to find out more about the application and contest process, gain helpful hints and tips on applying, and will be an opportunity to hear more about the challenges. Another briefing event will be held in Stoke-on-Trent on Thursday 24 November..
This is an ideal opportunity for applicants to find out all they need to know for applying to the contest.
The Dare to Solve: Health and Social Care Innovation Contest is running as part of a Staffordshire-based Innovate UK-funded project, and in partnership with the Digital KILN, a new Staffordshire University-led programme working with large companies, small businesses, public sector organisations, entrepreneurs and citizens to develop and deploy new digital technologies.
