This seminar will
provide a timely opportunity to discuss next steps for supporting London's
growing technology sector.
Following the Mayor launching his plan to
grow London's Tech City as a globally competitive base for technology
companies, planned sessions focus on priorities for the GLA in developing
infrastructure - including plans for a Smart
London - and providing superfast connectivity to support business.
Delegates will also discuss what more can be done to support digital start-ups
and entrepreneurs facing challenges such access to funding, affordable office
space and skills and talent - with the Autumn
Statement including measures to fund equity investment in high growth
companies and to extend Entrepreneurs' Relief - as well as latest developments
in the FinTech, MedTech and Property tech sectors.
