Beginners Track: Salesforce Platform basics with hands-on
For those new to the Salesforce Platform, we'll get you up and building cloud apps quickly by introducing you to the basics of the platform with step-by-step hands-on tutorials. You'll be able to create an app with point-and-click development and then see how you go a little further with Apex Code and Visualforce.
Mobile Track: Develop Mobile Apps with the Salesforce Platform
Learn how to use the Salesforce Mobile SDK to develop and test a hybrid mobile app. You'll get hands-on experience with enterprise security, accessing device features, and creating custom REST methods. You will also learn about critical mobile enterprise app design patterns to support Mobile Device Management, SSO, and topics such as packaging, distribution through 3rd party app stores, and how to license your app with the Salesforce Platform. (Bring your laptop.)
Prerequisites: For the mobile track, you will need to have wrangled some JavaScript code in the past, and have either Xcode (for iOS) or Eclipse with the Android SDK installed on your laptop. Bringing your laptop is a must for the beginner and mobile hands-on tracks!
