Guests of Honour: Christopher Graham, UK Information Commissioner and Ed Richards, Chief Executive, Ofcom

This seminar will be a timely opportunity to discuss the proposals laid out in the Government's recent digital strategy for the UK's communications sector - 'Connectivity, Content and Consumers: Britain's digital platform for growth'

It will bring together thought leaders in Government, Parliament, regulation, and the communications industry and its customers to consider the policy priorities for the converging communication services sector and its role in supporting growth across the wider UK economy. Planned sessions focus on the central aspects of the strategy including production and access to content, competition in the media, protecting the consumer and the development of broadband and wireless infrastructure and services. This is the latest in the series held by the Westminster eForum and Media Forum examining the progress of the forthcoming Communications Bill.

We are delighted to be able to include in this seminar keynote addresses from Christopher Graham, UK Information Commissioner; Ed Richards, Chief Executive, Ofcom and Magnus Brooke, Director of Policy and Regulatory Affairs, ITV.

Lord Clement-Jones, Member, House of Lords Select Committee on Communications has kindly agreed to chair a session at this seminar. Additional speakers are currently being approached.
