HTML5 / CSS3 Workshop in Bath
On 12th November 2012 Burfield Creative, a web design agency based near Bath, is holding an interactive CSS3 & HTML5 workshop with internationally published author, speaker and trainer Estelle Weyl. The event is being held at The Royal Crescent Hotel in Bath from 9.30am until 6pm with an after party being held from 6.30pm – 10.00pm at The Cork Vaults in Bath.
The event promises to be a fantastic day for web designers & developers offering them the chance to receive hands-on advice and training from one of the world’s foremost authorities on web technology.
Lead front-end developer at Burfield Creative, David Smith explained, “This workshop will be a unique opportunity to learn about the full capabilities of CSS3 and it’s practical application via progressive design principles, time saving techniques and development tools.”
He continued, “This is a skills-based workshop with each attendee coming away with hands-on experience of selectors, media queries, colours, border effects, background effects, gradients, animations, transitions, transformations and more!”
The training is being provided by Estelle Weyl. A UI Engineer, she has consulted for the likes of Yahoo! and Apple, and provides tutorials and detailed grids of CSS3 and HTML5 browser support in her popular blog at www.standardista.com. She is also the author of several books including “Mobile HTML5”, “What’s Next in CSS3”, “HTML5: The Definitive Guide” and “HTML5 and CSS3 for the Real World”.
