We are now accepting applications for UnBox 2013 Fellowships. This is your chance to take part in India’s most innovate cross-arts festivals and apply your creative expertise to a fresh set of situational, theme-based challenges.

UnBox – ‘Action at the Intersections’
UnBox Festival celebrates interdisciplinary processes and experiences that shape contemporary thought and action across a range of domains, including Development, Design, Business, Identity, Reform, Culture and Technology. The festival itself takes place from 6-10 February 2013 and is packed with keynotes, discussions, workshops, performances, exhibitions and installations - all anchored around the practice of innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Where you come in…
We are looking for UK-based creative practitioners to participate in a 3-4 week placement immediately prior to the festival, where successful applicants will join a carefully selected team of researchers and practitioners to work on a theme-based project (unPLAY, unTILL, unVEIL, unBUILD, unMAP).
Each placement will take place at one of five host organisations based in India. Following the placement, teams will present their fellowship outcomes and big ideas at the UnBox Festival for a chance to be awarded further booster funding with which to continue their collaborative projects.
Who are we looking for?
This opportunity will be particularly attractive to those working in film, animation, app development, graphic design, or industrial design.
Certain placement options will also be of interest to visual artists, writers, musicians, performers, and event managers. All are welcome to apply.
