Etsy Illustrates its Talent at Clerkenwell Design Week

Etsy, the online marketplace startup that specialises in handmade and vintage items, is showcasing the talent of its sellers in an exhibition at this year’s Clerkenwell Design Week.
Running from 22 to 24 May, Etsy illustrator James Ward, from www.jimbobart.etsy.com will be drawing his trademark ‘Cake Defender’ bear in a bath, within the Etsy showroom in the Farmiloe Building.
A limited edition print will also be sold with 15% of proceeds going to Chelsea and Westminster Health Charity local charity. The Hospital Arts team at the charity delivers a renowned visual and performing arts programme at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, and is currently fundraising for the new Chelsea Children’s Hospital which will feature strong visual arts.
James Ward will be joined over thethree day festival by a further seven Etsy illustrators who all graduated within the past five years, in an exhibition designed to reveal more about the world of illustration.
