As agencies grow teams get bigger, products get more sophisticated and projects become increasingly complex. There are more parts, more tools, more people, more projects and never enough training. We get by, but wonder if there isn't a better way.
This masterclass will imagine what perfect project delivery looks like while considering all the things that get in the way. Taking examples of good and bad practise from real agencies we will build a tool kit of practical steps you can take away to:
- Structure your team for best performance
- Plan and manage projects better for optimal results
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders across multiple projects
- Encourage effective collaboration
- Embed innovation and good creative practise
Whether you are working on one off campaigns or specific projects for retained clients, you will be learn how others approach the same problems you face and discover what you could do to improve your approach to project management. About the Trainer
Steven Stark, Director of People Who Do, an organisational and personal development consultancy that seeks to make work better. Steven has 15 years experience working in the creative industries at director level. He has founded, built up, bought or sold nine terrestrial and digital radio stations, led an audio production company, launched and run a music festival, dabbled in digital classified advertising and consulted for clients ranging from Virgin Media and Channel 4 to King's College London and The Department of Health. He has worked with a number of digital marketing agencies including Site Visibility and Propellernet in Brighton. He has extensive experience of working with SME’s to improve productivity and working environments. In his spare time he shares the childcare, cleans the house and looks after bees.
