Event Info
Description
As the owner or manager of an IT or web based business, you will know that speaking at events and conferences is one of the best ways for you to build your company brand and personal profile, to get your message out there, influence others of your views and to generate quality leads for your business.
However, making the most of every event that you speak at is a huge challenge and needs both your time and effort. Maybe you feel that your current speaking opportunities are not getting you the right results, or that once you are finished at an event you don’t get any positive follow-up? Perhaps you are wondering how to develop the most effective presentations possible, and find it difficult to define the right messages that will persuade audiences of your viewpoint? Or do you struggle to overcome your nerves and find speaking difficult? And what kind of rapport do you have with your audiences before, during, and after you speak?
On Wednesday 16th November, 2011 Mixing Digital will be hosting a unique workshop that will help you develop a complete approach for creating a memorable and lasting experience every time you speak. It will teach you all you need to know to get the right result from each speaking opportunity and deliver a framework that will make you stand out at every event. The session will be led by Andrew Gerrard, an established conference speaker on social and digital media, and Freddie Daniells, a leading coach in public speaking and presentation skills.
By the end of the workshop you will be able to:
- Create a total “live” and online speaking experience for audiences that leads to results:
- Before with engagement in the lead-up to an event
- During the event and even whilst you are speaking
- After the event reaction and follow-up
- Use social media to drive awareness of your speaking events, build contacts, and form lasting relationships with your audiences
- Develop presentations that get your messages across with clarity, persuasion and influence
- Deliver your presentation with confidence and credibility
Whatever your speaking needs are, if you want to make the most of events, this workshop is for you.
