Mobile Web and Apps World Forum
Event Info
Description
Following our sold out-standing room only event at CTIA Las Vegas, the next Mobile Web and Apps World Forum is being held at CTIA Enterprise and Applications in San Francisco
The growth of Mobile Apps has created a new, viable ecosystem which BusinessWeek calls ‘The App economy". Apart from iPhone and Android Apps, the Mobile Web is also being deployed in the form of Web Widgets from providers such as Google, Opera, AT&T, Verizon and JIL
Irrespective of the technology (Mobile Web or Mobile Apps), Mobile Applications are geared towards the Long Tail and they tend to convert a product or a service into a platform. Today, the Apps strategy is pervasive with software providers even chipmakers including an appstore as a part of their strategy. Apps developers are the main beneficiaries of the Apps strategy but its impact is widespread across the entire ecosystem.
