TEDxWarwick
Event Info
Description
Our conference will once again bring together fascinating thinkers and doers from around the world, who are challenged to give the talk of their lives in under 18 minutes. We believe passionately in the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives and ultimately, the world.
So we're building here a clearinghouse that offers free knowledge and inspiration from the world's most inspired thinkers, and also a community of curious souls to engage with ideas and each other. TED is not restricted to one discipline; instead it acts as a bridge to link a diversity of ideas to experts in other disciplines and the audience in an understandable way. This makes TEDx Warwick one of the most interesting, diverse and exciting events on campus

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local,
self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like
experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine
to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local,
self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x=independently organized
TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx
program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.
