Bootlaw Academy #1
Description
A one day session covering all the legal aspects of the investment process.
This event is aimed at CEOs or founders of companies who
are in the process of raising investment or who are about to start the
investment process before the end of 2009. The aim of the day is to
demystify the technical legal steps involved in closing an investment
deal. The sessions will be a mixture of audience participation by way
of Q&A, practical exercises and input from various experts who have
been through the process themselves on both sides, as well as presentations from Winston & Strawn partner Barry Vitou and associate Danvers Baillieu. Barry and Danvers are well known on the London technology start up circuit as lawyers who understand new technology, and as founders of Bootlaw.
Places
will be restricted so that the group is more manageable. If you are
interested in attending Bootlaw Academy, please email dbaillieuwinston [dot] com. If you are not already a Bootlaw
member, please provide some information about your company. It would be
helpful if everyone could give us some details as to their proposed
fundraising, including timescale, amounts and likely source of funding
(e.g. angel or VC).
