Description

CES Government is the premier US government technology conference, held each year in Las Vegas as part of International CES. For the first time, CES Government will also be hosting a parallel session in London, video-linked back to the main conference in Las Vegas.

This year’s event will focus on the key tech trends that will transform public sector IT in the years to come - including social media, cloud computing and advanced wireless communications. We are delighted to announced that the Greater London Authority will be launching their own open data initiative to open the conference.

Speakers joining us for the live video link include:

  • Boris Johnson, Mayor of London
  • Aneesh Chopra, US Federal CTO
  • Linda Cureton, NASA CIO
  • Paul Cosgrove, New York City CTO
  • Ailsa Beaton, Met Police CIO
  • Carol Tullo Director Office of Public Sector Information

The conference will be chaired by Professor Jonathan Raper and Tweets will be facilitated by social innovator Paul Clarke.

Whether you work in the public, private or not for profit sectors, please join us in City Hall or via Twitter for what promises to be a unique event for anyone interested in understanding the role of technology in Government in the US and UK.

CES Government London 2010 is being organised by Sovereign Strategy in partnership with the Mayor of London and is kindly sponsored by ARM. For any further inquiries related to this conference please contact john [dot] midgleyatsovereignstrategy [dot] com
