Any self-respecting 10-year-old can tell you what widgets, mash-ups, tag clouds, and UGC are. What they can’t tell you is why these and other ‘web 2.0’ developments have any relevance to the day to day work of public sector managers. So, if you have a suspicion that some of what’s going on in Facebook, Second Life, YouTube, LinkedIn and the rest might just be relevant to your work, don’t rely on your kids – come along to this event.
