Why do people complain about Jo using the internet to do article research?
This list is moderated so if you don't like the practice, ask Sam to ban it.
Nobody is obliged to reply. If they do, it presumably is with an eye to PR
benefit, and anyone who does reply can do so by email, which I have always
thought is a very useful communications medium. It might not be too good at
selling baked beans, but it helps my working day no end.
If only more journalists would do their research this way, it would allow
those of us without the budgets to pay retainers to PR firms better
opportunity for reasonable press coverage.
The internet is a medium of communication. So what's wrong with using it to
communicate?
