You know web-savvy users. Freeserve's genius has been to target the
middle class. Based on the US figures, I would be astonished if even
5% of Freeserve users change their homepage or indeed adjust their
browsers defaults in any way. Most people, by default, are not "smart
internet users".
The game is Freeserve's to lose - if they stand still they die, but
they have more momentum than anybody else, and if the flotation goes
well, they will have the cash to back it up.
