That's a fine troll you've got there ;)
I still pay for a Demon account at home, partly for technical reasons
(static IP etc.), partly because the newsfeed is excellent, and
partly because I'm now using services like their D-FAX. Also, I can
moan when things go wrong. They're also about to launch Service Level
Agreements, so Demon users will be compensated if anything major goes
wrong.
Other Internet stuff I pay for:
I have an account on The WELL, which I don't use as much as I'd like,
which provides intelligent discussion on all subjects.
I also subscribe to Slate, although I may discontinue this now that
the website is free to access.
I've also bought e-editions of Loot.
So basically I'm willing to pay for top-notch content, and good
access to content.
