Yes, the only companies that actually constantly need flash anims are
webdesign companies. Other companies can also have it, but making
the information available to the user is supposed to be the main target.
An example of such a webpage is for instance
http://www.benefon.com/ I took 10 times longer to find the product
information I was looking for, as compared to if it where a normal
webpage.
