i am sorry to keep this "client" argument going. (i know it riffs the data
types.)
but, to say an audience who may be interested in financial information are
"stiff-necks" is way off, and i agree with the post making reference to that
fact.
dude, redesign your paradigm, man. I am 27 years old, ...hardly
"stiff-necked", and chock full of 401k and mutual fund investments. I care
when Microsoft challenges Macromedia, cause i have stock in them. I care
when Interest rates go crazy, 'cause i'm in the house market. I care when i
see older people living poorly because they didn't save enough for
retirement. But, i also don't like white papers and boring brochures. I am
a product of the MTV media generation and since i'm flooded with so much
information and media, you had better get my attention with something
show-stopping. that's the facts.....true for many of us in this arena, at
this stage in the game.
Alan does a great job getting that information out in a hip, fun way, that
screams "hey...even YOU can be financially secure!"
i just can't see the "stiff-necked" hot-shot Schwab broker regressing to
inform himself with this type of general content.
sorry everyone, i will let this rest. (debate is in my blood)
