Expecting a fairly long/complex movie to load immediately over the web on
the click of a button (especially on a slow server, locally is ever so much
faster)
Loading several things (or fewer very large things) at once has overloaded
the flash player's available memory (only on the mac?) - though usually this
one will make things stop loading partway through so it's fairly easy to
detect.
