Or, import as jpeg but export as "lossless" (keep original compression)
will work fine too. As has been mentioned, you need to avoid scaling the
image larger, or changing the width-to-height ratio. Scaling smaller, or a
bit larger, is usually not a problem but the best bet when using bitmaps in
Flash is to start by determining a fixed size for the movie, then (prior to
image import) prepare your images to be exactly the size you want them to
display.
