Subject: RE: FLASH: Extract from Library???

Nice. Thanks alot.
I'll give all the suggestions a shot and
let you know what kind of results I get.

A quick, yet painful, solution I found for the
time being was to select the graphic, copy, open
photoshop, then paste.....

Maybe it wasn't the best way...
but I got the graphics I needed.

Thanks again.

Hmm, there isn't an "Export" button in the Image Properties dialog. We can
certainly export frames of an animation, but this would require moving
things on the screen.

One easy way of regaining embedded assets is by copy/paste into Fireworks.

If you export the movie as a SWF then it should be possible to parse the
SWF and write out pixel-based assets. Swift-Inspector already does this,
but it may not match your platform:

ah, it looks like Eduardo Aguiar's "Swiff Extractor" can do this too:

Hey, here's another one:

I haven't evaluated any of these personally myself, but do any of these
tools or procedures help you get what you want...?
