FLASH: OT:Macromedia upgrades

Sorry to post this, but seeing as some the of MM guys are on the list I

hoped they could respond.

 

My GF bought the educational edition of dreamweaver fireworks studio 3 in

January.  She wants to upgrade it to the commercial license so she can make

real websites with it, but when I called MM they said there is no upgrade.

This seems crazy, she paid $200 for the edu version, and now they want her

to pay another $399 for a commercial version, so she ends up spending $600

total, I told her to see if she can sell her educational version, but I'm

not sure if the licensing permits that...  

 

I emailed the sales department to try and speak to someone above a regular

sales person and the auto reply  promised me a 48 hour turn around 7 days

ago... ;o)

 

Anywone from MM have an input on this?
