Back in 2001, I was one of the founders of Harvest Digital, a full-service digital marketing agency in London.
With a focus on digital performance, Harvest has grown to be one of the largest independent agencies in the UK. Major clients include Tesco, Experian, Oxfam, Chevrolet and Sage.
Harvest helps clients in three main ways: channel management across search, display and social media, creative development and conversion optimisation. As Planning Director my job is to develop integrated digital marketing strategies that will bring the right customers to our clients' websites and then help them to engage and transact.
Before Harvest Digital, I worked as a consultant with Answerthink, a global IT consultancy where I developed online marketing strategies for clients like IBM, Shell and Abbey National. I started my career as a copywriter in the direct marketing industry, winning numerous creative awards with WWAV Rapp Collins. In 1995 I was part of the team that founded one of the first new media agencies in London, Tequila Digital.
I sit on the IAB's Search Council, do occasional training for the IDM and Econsultancy and speak at conferences like Ad:tech, Internet World and SXSW.
