Oooh, yessss... Apple's finest hour... you can imagine the marketing
conversation for that one:
"Yeah, let's make this box that's a Mac, but really cheap and only plays
games. Now, in order to stop people from buying them instead of our
high-margin machines, let's intentionally cripple it.."
Replace the word "Mac" with "Windows PC" and you're away. Sony et al are
going eat the Redmond boys for breakfast.
