Don't go there. Those days are over.

In the US, the average working adult will be online by the end of this
year, and the average adult, period, will be on line by the end of
next year. Treating internet access as some sort of special activity
enjoyed by a minority of the population is short-term thinking - the
internet will reach a majority of the population in Britain by 2001,
and (because its going to consume the telephone network) it will
reach all of Britain by 2005.
