The way the left-hand topic bar now contains the subtopics is an
improvement, and the ordering of the front page makes more sense -- there
aren't the two columns in the main section of the page.

The only really negative thing for me is that the links to other stories in
the same section are no longer displayed at the right of each page --
they're in a dropdown at the bottom. I much preferred the old version.

But if that's the worst I can find with the redesign, then it can't be all
bad.

At least it's no longer a Java applet, though, so it no longer takes an
extra 5 seconds to render the page.


But quite frankly, I'd be willing to look at a page written entirely
surrounded in BLINK tags, if it meant I could laugh at the downfall of
Jeffrey Archer.
