Why will customers only take one free ISP? As people like Barclays,
WHSmiths, etc., start to offer services specific to the users of their ISP
aren't we going to find ourselves moving back to the days when people
maintained a number of accounts on various dialup services?

I think I saw a recent estimate for UK internet users at 10 million. I
think it's fair to say not every one of them will be one of these smart
users who change their home page to Yahoo or whatever...
