They do have a warehouse, and they do hold stock. This is the way it works

in New York and they have repeated the model here.


When I spoke to them several months ago they were looking for a warehouse

which was in walking/cycling distance from their catchment area. I don't

suppose it's very big - if you don't have to let customers in you can pile a

lot of stock in a room the size of a small shop.

So well done urban fetch. But the real question is...how do they do it? Do

they own their own warehouse, the sheer variety of products they stock must

make it a logistics headache, but they seem to have truly mastered the art

of fulfillment.
