Interesting question. When negotiating the placement
of advertisements lately I had this discussion with
ft.com. Their advertising offer seems attractive as
your banner is only displayed to people who have
registered as being interested in your subject and is
held there until, say, 50,000 people have seen it.
And then you ask them about click rates . . . that is
when they stop returning your calls or replying to
your e-mails.
