RE: FLASH: is a class necessary

I have been using flash in the industry for about a year now and have learnt

quite a bit by resourcing tutorials etc. for myself.

I recently did an accredited MM Flash Training course and found it far too

'easy' for my liking.

I honestly have learnt alot more from this list than I did from those two

days spent at training.

Maybe it was the teacher?

But Telltargeting was mentioned 10 minutes before the end of the last

session, as was Load Movie.

Nothing to do with text fields and backendintegration was touched upon.


$1000 later I regretted the experience.

I was told that a more 'advanced' session was available.

I looked up the cost  - $1400 for two days..


Stick with the list.

Well, I teach the official MM class, and I honestly think its a pretty good

class.  However, as with all things it depends on the teacher(s). Here at

Fig Leaf we almost always have two teachers per class so that the students

don't get bored and so that there is always enough one-on-one help to go

around.  Check to see how your class it actually taught, and find out what

other people have said about the company you are going with.
