Stuart, I believe you hit on the solution in your first post....You have to
have EACH graphic you are morphing on its own layer. In other words, once
your text is broken apart (or brought in as a graphic) every single letter
needs to be on its own layer, because it is a graphic in it's own right.

what should I do the stop the type distorting so easily I am using flash to
generate the text and tweening to animate between keyframes........Grrrrrrrr
I hate not knowing the solution I am sure it is simple?????? how do I stop
un wanted morphing effects do I have to type individual characters on to
separate layers??????
