then i would create one layer with the person in focus and the movement
across the stage defined. double the layer apply a gausian or directional
blur- i can't think of what it's called at the moment- and offset the
position of the blurred layer by a bit (just move it over- don't use the
offset funcction ; it'll repeat the edge of the image...). mask the first
layer- you have the commercial bundle which allows you to feather your
selection. adjust the shape of the mask across time while you stretch the
shape of the blurred layer to increase the blur as the person accelerates.
you might also lean the prson forward and parallel the lean with the edge of
the blur..
