Hi Beth,
I find that using jpegs as your imported artwork doesn't really compress all
that well. It may seem strange, but try importing uncompressed bitmaps as
your series of images and rather use Flash to compress your image sizes.
When you export, check the size report out and let us know whether it's
smaller or not!
