Subject: FLASH: Browser incompatibility with variables
From: Hal medrano

Hi folks,

Please look at http://www.coloradoavalanche.com

This site was put together in generator by another design house. Our group just
got the account and we don't have generator.

The problem: There is a scrolling text box at
the top of the page which originally was a generator object. I've replaced it
with a text field (named "updates") which I'm calling using LoadVariable. The
text field is formatted properly (name/value pair) and works fine in standalone
FlashPlayer, and in IE, but it doesn't work in Netscape.

Any ideas?

Help appreciated.

Hal
