If you're controlling the Beatnik Player, then this implies that you'll
already be using LiveConnect and ActiveScripting, so FSCommand and
Shockwave's externalEvent will work.
If you'd like to have Flash buttons control Beatnik through Shockwave, then
this also implies that they have Beatnik installed.
Because you have those two constraints already fulfilled (a browser which
offers JavaScript control over plugins and the Beatnik installation), then
I'd probably cut Shockwave out of the picture entirely, and just have Flash
FSCommand out to JavaScript, which then controls the Beatnik browser
plugin/control directly.
Is there any reason to include Shockwave at this point...?
(Rephrased, it might be simpler to go Flash->JavaScript->Beatnik than
Flash->JavaScript->Shockwave/wBeatnik.)
