Yes, use a movie clip with a Park frame. Movie Clips (MCs) serve the
same purpose as Load Movie (or is that vice versa), except MCs are
included in the same movie and Load Movies are separate SWF files. Use
Load Movies when the files are large and need to be available in a
random order.

A Park frame is a frame that is empty (or sometimes just without
buttons) that is used to remove that MC or movie loaded with Load movie
to a temporary park position when it is not needed. Thiis is usually
better than to delete and reopen the object.
