Title: Duplicating MCs
I have 4 MCs that randomly duplicate another MC. Each duplicated MC is given an incremented name and depth, so that they stay on screen. The problem I have is that the duplicated MCs always appear on the same level but above the 4 MCs that created them...in other words, its as if each duplicated MC was "Sent to Top".
The 4 MCs acually randomly tell the original MC to duplicate itself, and move the new MC to the X and Y coordinates of the MC that commanded the duplication. The original MC is on a level below the 4 MCs in the main timeline. Any ideas how to make the duplicated MCs appear on stage below the other 4 MCs? Can you set the "Level" of a duplicated MC? I've tried using negative numbers for the depth but no luck.
Hopefully I didn't confuse you beyond all hope. Thanks for the help!
