FLASH: random numbers plus delay

Hello flasher world wide.........How ya doing?...I spent yesterday night doing

the Flash...but still no solution.

plus the monday morning, well at least weather nice today here in swiss...sun is

bright...actually very strange,

november...Ok my question.....I am doing the flash intro about internet

history...I sent mail regarding this topic a week ago...

ok back to the line...in this intro I am telling the story how the internet

started....I am starting from 1969 to till today.


how do I script this this?

typewriter effect?

random numbers simulating?

pause


concept: on the begnning of the intro you will see random numbers and stops at

1969 and waits till the text to it gets displayed

( which shall be typewriter effect) and holds for few seconds till user can read

the message and so on till the status today?


I will be very appericate if you could...give me some tips....perhaps sample

file where I can download?



what is difference between lingo and actionscript...I know little lingo but

dunno how to use in Flash....is there any books for it?

Mono crafts....anyone knows how this site was done...I mean in scripting

sense...thanks hear you soon.
