Yes, I do and have done it too. The only problem is that you will have to place you SWF onto a sever which is accessable from the internet Create a new HTML document with the following code (copy & paste), save the file as "SWFMail.htm" and put it in the following directory C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Stationery The code::
<HTML> <HEAD> <STYLE> BODY { font-family: Tahoma; font-size: 10pt; color: 800000; font-weight: bold; background-position: top left; background-repeat: no-repeat; } </STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgcolor="#9999FF"><p align="center"> <object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://active.macromedia.com/flash2/cabs/swflash.cab#version=2,0,0,0" width="50%" height="50%" name="movie"> <param name="MOVIE" value="http://freespace.virgin.net/george.medve/swf/splash.swf"> <param name="BGCOLOR" value="#9999FF"> <param name="QUALITY" value="high"> <param name="PLAY" value="true"> <EMBED SRC="http://freespace.virgin.net/george.medve/swf/splash.swf" NAME=Welcome WIDTH="50%" HEIGHT="50%" QUALITY="high" MENU="false" PLAY="true" BGCOLOR="#9999FF" TYPE="application/x-shockwave-flash" PLUGINSPAGE="http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash" > </EMBED> </object> </BODY> </HTML>

It depends what the flash file is...Outlook should support HTML as stationery, so I guess it just depends how you have the flash file set up. If you could set it as a backgroud that would be cool for stationery but I don't think that you can do that...Or you could make a giant text field in the .swf file and then use it... Or you could do a screen capture and then put that as a background in a HTML file and use that. I don't know exactly what you're going for, whether it's the look or the animation or what. But the best thing that I think you could do would be to put the flash file in a web page, set the top (or bottom) margin to something small, and then set text margins so that your text goes around it :) Hope that helps, Eric -----Original Message----- From: ownerchinwag [dot] com [mailto:ownerchinwag [dot] com]On Behalf Of Mountain, Mike J Sent: Thursday, October 28, 1999 6:57 AM To: 'flasherchinwag [dot] com' Subject: FLASH: Flash Stationary
Anyone know how to incorporate a flash file into outlook stationary? Cheers Mike
