FLASH: OT list banter

dear ms. almeida,


i would never presume to call you grouchy, even on halloween.


as a list subscriber for some time now, i can tell you that ot banter 

happens occasionally.  sometimes it gets rough (liguidart, the bomb 

guy, and alcazar), but mostly it's all in good fun, and occasionally 

we learn something useful about digital cameras, legal forms, other 

software, etc.


there is usually a more relaxed list environment on weekends, and 

it's not uncommon for those of us who know each other not to send a 

friendly nod here and there.


without a doubt the consensus is that the best way to end ot chatter 

is to simply ignore it.  it always goes away eventually, we put on 

our straight faces and get back to the serious business of helping 

each other.
