FLASH: change scene with button in MC

hi flashers


I stumbled across a stupid situation... I created a menu using different buttons combined in a

MC. When mouse over a button I target other MC..so far so good. now -since all buttons are in an

MC- I can't use AS for a "on release" got to and play scene XY... the scene chooser field is

grayed out!!! and there is no way I can place the single button directly on stage... anyone know

a work-around.. I'm greatful for every hint..
