I thought that was the trouble. Shape tween does not tween the bitmap
contents color or bitmap image itself. It can do a nice smooth color
transition with filled vectors, either flat color or gradient and tween the
center and "stretch" of a gradient but this does not work on bitmap images.

Could it be a bitmap of some kind?
A: The Bobcat and Crest images are bitmaps.
