You bring up a good point here.
What I think, and hope, is that the interactive arts
get back (not that they ever were mind you), to being
more about art and creativity than technology.
What does this mean?
It means I believe that artists will be more and more
empowered to deal with tools that lets them create
without writing code, and dealing with all kinds of
other technological restraints that has kep the world
of interaction and creativity often in separate camps.
The tools to make great interactive are getting easier
and easier to use and more powerful.
So code-heads, watch out.
Just my two cents.
