your views on copyrights & pornography

I'm a bit of a lurker on this list, just listening and learning from 

who I regard to be the best in the industry.

However I'm getting pretty sick and tired of reading about copyright 

infringements, pornography discusions, etc, etc, what's the bloody 

point in discussing it if no action is taken by anyone anyway?

(am I the only one tired of deleting all that mail?)

Let's just try to get back on track and talk  about Flash and all the 

great stuff it can do for us, and let the suits worry about the 

legalities involved.


I've got a bit of a newbie question: (Flash 3)

I created a movie with six scenes, the first being the intro leading 

to an interface with five buttons which link to the other five 

scenes.

All the buttons specify which scene they should go to and stop on, 

the problem is they don't stop on the scene, the movie just keeps on 

playing! - even if I specified a Stop-action in the next scene.

I've only got one frame in each scene, do I need more for some 

strange reason or what's the deal?
