Hi,
I can install the plugin, but when you go to a flash site, it just doesn't play flash, it always comes up with the alternative gif image. So the browser doesn't know it has the plugin installed. Maybe, it is aftershock that generates code that is platform dependable. I checked on sites where I used aftershock to put the flashmovie on the page. If so, this is a serious problem. It means that if you use aftershock on a windows platform, Mac-browsers doen't take the Fl;ash and the other way around. I was surprised, 'cause of all the Mac stories that it is so friendly for users ;-)
I deleted the plugin and reinstalled, and no success. Maybe it is that machine, maybe not

Installing is not the problem, its getting it to work. What part of the install procedure doesn't work? You didn't say.
