Hi Jan,

Where you perchance installing the Flash plug-in into EI4?

If so, then you'll probably find it won't preview files locally (as in on
your hard drive). I had this problem last night, and received some good
support from the people here (my first day on list too;)).

Basically, there's a few issues apparent with IE for Mac, but I managed to
workaround by publishing my flash site to the web server. For some reason,
once I opened it from there, local previews worked (no
'application-x/unknown' errors). This isn't a flash thing, it's EI's
problem.

If your problem is in Netscape, then all I can think of is to check the
plug-in is in netscape's plug-in folder (kinda like the 'have you tried
turning it on, dad?' joke ;)), as I've had no probs in Netscape 3 or
Communicator, aside from a few javascript errors (grr).
